BY MACY EVANS// Fitz and The Tantrums is a band best known for the unabashedly poppy tunes off of their eponymous 2017 album--including electric hits like “HandClap” and “Fool.” A six-piece set from Los Angeles, the band has spent over a decade building a reputation for catchy indie-pop with a soulful twist.
Touring now in support of their latest release, All the Feels, Fitz and the Tantrums are bringing a
new lyrical depth and maturity to their trademark beats. The band will be playing at The Anthem,
one of DC’s best and newest venues--a fitting location for a band known for its live performances. The Los Angeles Times once remarked that it is “the kind of band that communicates best in concert.” If you haven’t had a chance to check out their newest album yet, seeing it first in person may well be the best way to experience it.
Twin XL, another band out of Los Angeles, will open. The show is February 14th at The
Anthem, with GA tickets starting as low as $45.
